YESSS!!!  It's Subaru and Hokuto-chan from Tokyo Babylon!  Tokyo Babylon is my all-time favorite CLAMP series; and I had to draw some fanart when CLAMP was picked as the Monthly Anime/Manga Artist
"Yappari Nokoru-sama suteki da wa..."  A quickly-sketched birthday gift for Elaine; Nokoru Imonoyama from Clamp Campus Detectives, her favorite CLAMP guy.  The kid's basically a hyper-chivalrous, ultra-bishonen Richie Rich. ^-^  Among the three detectives, Nokoru-sama's my favorite.
A silly little gift I did a while back for my dear friend Saki.  Ehh... basically, it's Ayanami from Evangelion, Usagi from Sailor Moon, and Aya Mikage from Ayashi no Ceres... all dressed up as Maetel from Galaxy Express 999.   Um... don't ask.  ^^;;
Kaworu from Evangelion was featured as Monthly Anime Villain, and I figured he'd be fun to draw.  Looking at this image now, I'm not sure if it's supposed to be cute or morbid.  Maybe cutely morbid, or morbidly cute. ^^;;;
Aheheh... ^^;; Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho, one of my favorite poster boys for the bishonen generation, was featured as Monthly Anime Bishonen.  I guess I sorta wanted to make him look more... rugged than usual; so I tried to make him up like some kind of old rock star. ^^;;  ...Anyway, I hadn't used markers in a loooooong time, so I was shocked at how well they turned out here.
Sorata Arisugawa from X!  Waiii!  Forget that little weenie Kamui -- Sora-chan is the man!  ^-^  Inked with a brush pen (which I'm steadily getting the hang of), with a finer drawing pen for the hair and little hatches and stuff.  I plan to send this to the Animerica Extra fanart gallery, so keep an eye out...  ^_^
Hey Miki, you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind!  Hey Miki!  Hey Miki!

...^^;; O-kay, now that that's out of the way...  Miki Kaoru, from Shojo Kakumei Utena.  A quick drawing, colored with colored pencils, and submitted to the Anime Hunk and Babe of the Month.  His eyes do look rather weird... but I was trying to emulate the Utena style.

I like Inu-Yasha... ^_^  So when Rumiko Takahashi-sensei was featured as Monthly Anime/Manga Artist, I had to draw him (either that or Yuta and Mana from Mermaid's Saga...)  I also wanted to try my hand at watercolor, since I had bought a shiny new set of watercolors and some watercolor paper while in the States.  I did the outlines with colored pencils.  It turned out pretty okay, I think, except that all the nice subtle shading in his hair and ears vanished mysteriously into the bowels of my scanner... ;_;
Uhm... ^^;; Well, this was another Monthly Animefan Alternative submission, when the topic was to switch the gender of an anime character.  So this would be "Otoko" Kusanagi, a male version of Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell.  It's a parody of a particular Ghost in the Shell image from the movie film comic; I copied the pose, but it wasn't an exact copy.
"At lahst we shall reveal ourselves to the Tataraba... at lahst we shall have our revenge."  ^-^  MAA submission; an amalgamation of San from Mononoke Hime and Darth Maul from Star Wars Episode One.  ("I know Mononoke Hime, of course, but what the hell is Star Wars?!" le sigh.)
